Guild Rules & Policies
Code of Conduct
1) Treat other players with respect.
2) Do not create drama.
3) No stealing other players' kills or dropping mobs on them.
4) Leaving the guild regularly will not be permitted.
5) Do not feed the trolls, they get enough from others.
Guild Member Communications (Personal or Group)
Please keep in mind that some of our members are a bit sensitive due to health issues or life experiences. Those with such issues(or who get otherwise offended) should try to calmly request either clarification of problem comments or respectfully request that such comments not be directed toward them.Remember, text is harder to interpret than speech and sometimes can mean something other than the obvious. Sarcasm does NOT translate well either(we may try to discuss a method for trying to indicate this at a later time).
Promotion Requirements
Leaders: Branch Heads and above, being leadership positions, require a good working knowledge of DOMO in general as well as a willingness to help others.Leaders MUST be willing and able to help in crisis situations AND share their opinions on guild issues(either at council meetings or, in the event of absence, as soon as they are able to get online and review the issue).
Elders and Branch Heads of specialized branches should be knowledgeable about the branch play style.
Leaders will be expected to spend some time (availability permitting) working on behalf of the guild. Guild work includes: farming Elder Mats, running an Elder Mule for members doing elders, running a Guild Shop and of course doing elder quests. If you are a leader, pick the job you wish to do (these jobs can be performed or changed at any time and should NOT monopolize your online time). Leaders who have difficulty being on to play the game may wish to have an alt be a Elder Mule or Guild Store so they can use their online time to level(or whatever else amuses them).
Elders: You will be assigned a branch to handle in the absence of a Branch Head or if a problem arises that the BH is unable to handle. Elders will also run or assist with our Guild Events and should be able to make daily/near-daily appearances.
Branch Heads: As a Branch Head you will be expected to run your branch(primarily consists of helping members as needed or resolving disputes that turn up) and will need to appear at LEAST a few times a week.
Leave of Absence: If there will be an extended absence from game and/or skype/raidcall please notify Taikira. Unexplained absences for a week straight may result in being demoted.
Fenrir's Wrath, Catastrophic Zev & Elysian Tala: Membership is by choice, however you should be capable of playing your choice at a high level of ability and competency. To gain a promotion to one of these branches you need a minimum of ONE 30+ class and to notify a member of leadership about which branch you wish to be part of.
Shadow Stalkers: This branch requires level 20+. (Promotions are as we notice you have hit 20+ or when you notify us.) Not only will you have shown dedication in improving yourself but also dedication in improving your guild and assisting your fellow guildmates.
Faelani Cubs: This branch is for our newer members who not only show a desire to join us but also a desire to play the game. To get this promotion you must show up regularly for two weeks and have multiclassed (done job qualifications) your character. Please note that regularly means you show up the better part of 14 days, daily constant presence is not required... though it doesn't hurt either.
NOTE: Returning members from CB will start in their choice of branch.
Guild Fame
A full set of 25 Darkdale Elder Quests grants 25 Guild Fame, while a full set of Eversun Elder Quests grants 9 Guild Fame. The Darkdale Elder will ask for various teams, drops, vengeance boss kills or Lv3 unrefined/refined mats. The Eversun Elder asks for various teams, drops, Lv1-2 unrefined/refined mats or HP<10%. As we are setting up guild 'elder quest' time it should be easier for everyone to complete those quests and get some rewards from the elders- A full set has a chance of netting you +5 inventory spaces (permanent and per elder)! If you aren't lucky you still walk away with a recipe.Guild Bank
There are 28 UNIQUE Elder Mats which should ideally have one full slot each. 18 spaces shall also be reserved for unrefined mats from levels 1 through 3. This setup leaves us with 4 slots unassigned. These final four slots should be used for member donations and should be picked up at earliest opportunity by an Elder Mule. No onyx, consumables or refined mats should be stored here.If you wish to donate refined mats for guild use they must be sent to Eclipse_Armory, our guild mule, who is currently run by Taikira.
Death Policy
Having frequently been asked the punishment for 'dying against orders' I have finally come up with a suitable punishment. Sorry guys, there will be no whips or chains here... other than mob drops.Having proven yourself incapable of battle with mobs of an appropriate level you must obtain 40 Elder mats per death from mobs TEN (10) levels or more below your own. IF there are no elder dropping mobs (or guild bank is full on level appropriate mats) within level you may FARM/COLLECT mats, donating a combination of unrefined mats that adds up to the required 40. REFINED mats will not be accepted for this.
Note: This rule only applies to experienced players and the fine is not required to be paid immediately.
